so i go to turn on my map reading ligt and guess what, its blown again. so i drive to the dealer and ask if they got any bulbs. yeah we got plenty of them because a lot of people have been having problems with them. cool, my car is under warranty and i need one. okay go see the service dept. hello may i help you. yeah i need a lightbulb and my car is under warranty. okay i will make you a appointment. appointment ? its just a lightbulb it will take about 2 minutes. you still need a appointment our next free day is next saturday.next saturday! can i just get the buld and put it in myself. i cant authorize that youll have to talk to the service manager. where is the service manager? behind you! okay i have a lightbulb that needs replacing its kinda annoying not being able to read stuff and i really dont want to wait over a week. well its a warranty part and as to be installed by a qualified service technician( which by the way took 2 of them more than a half hour to install lastime).you can BUY the bulb for 6 dollars and put it in yourself but then the bulb and light assembly will no longer be service under warranty again. you mean to tell me that i can self install a supercharger and still get a one year warranty but i cant install a lightbulb without voiding the warranty. supercharger? i dont know anything about that, but i guess thats the general ideal. at this point i just turn around and walk out. hey buddy dont you still want a appointment. i just keep on walking.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
That's total BS satur9.First off, the bulb costs no more than $0.50. If they charge any more than $1, turn away.Second, when I broke those little pins that hold the back of the valve cover heat shield in place, I went in, said I need these, they said is this a warranty replacement, I said sure, they said we just need to create a work order, they did, printed it up, gave me the part, sent me on my way, free of charge. My advice - FIND A NEW DEALER!!!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Which dealer has the malfunction. I will stick the bulb up their $$$$.You do not need and appointment to have an interior bulb replaced. They are obviously not a service oriented dealer. Dealers like that are why GM looses customers. That is why so many people buy Saturns. The cars are nothing special but the dealers make you feel like a human.
Just here to lend a hand to people who have questions about their Vibe.
Did you take it to Richmond? I just told the service write-up guy that I was tired of dealing with him, and I would find a new dealer. My Yukon XL has the service ride control light on. My wife took it in Aug 11. They put it on the lift, and tell her they need to order part. I never hear from them. I call service, and am told that I need to talk to parts about order. I talk to parts, they do not have an order. I talk to service, they decide I need to bring it in again to see what part needed to be ordered. Service tells me that they will get me in whenever I come. I called three times that I could get vehicle in, they tell me each time that they can not do it at that time. The worse thing is, they will not send me a service evaluation, because the service was not completed! Therefore, I can not impact there $ they get for good service questionaires!
