Lotus Elise

I was just reading in the October issue of Car and Driver (page 92) that the Lotus Elise will go on sale in the US in spring 2004 with "a version of the 1.8 liter Toyota four-banger found in the Celica GT-S." Would that be the 2zz found in the Vibe GT?

i usually hate little 2 door sport cars...but that is one sweet ride.

From the little I have read about the Elise, it's suposed to be one of the best handling cars on the road. Very light car.
