I want to know what you guys think about this mod and other similar mods like this where they use a resistor to trick the ecu.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 2430886459

JET is just as much of a joke as this scam is. I heard nothing but bad about JET. There is talk that UNICHIP will be bringing out a Plug and Play ecu upgrade. Check out this topic over at matrixowners.com: http://matrixowners.com/ftopic12325.htm ... 91058aa249

No, it does't exist for our cars, yet. It's being prototyped on an XRS, soon.

Okay, Okay....At the risk of catching a whole lotta flak from fellow genvibers, I bought one of these things. Everyone on the website seems to speak poorly about them, but NOBODY has one. So, I, honorably and altruistically, have decided to bite the bullet for all of you. After I get it installed and do a (removed) dyno run, I'll let you know. Please, if you have nothing but negative things to say about this, TELL ME ANYWAY!
Sold the vibe.Sorry, GM. I bought an Acura.

why dont peole just get the APEXi Super AFC controller? It works on almost every car, itll work on ours because people have them on their celicas. You can control the air/fuel ratio yourself.

I believe the ECU on our car's resets everything to factory with the AFC, so you really don't benefit. There's alot of good info on the link I posted about Unichip. It's ac omplete stand alone ECU PnP. It affects more than just A/F ratio. It can be programmed for the mods you have. They're looking at putting done 200hp+ on GT/XRS! I believe it will be around $700-800.
