VSS Wire

I installed a wireless Apple Carplay unit in my car and in order to use the GPS with the radio I have to tap into the VSS wire but I can't find any information other that I can get to it under the glove box.

I have the 2010 with the 1.8L.

I'm surprised the unit doesn't have it's own GPS sensor. The aftermarket radio I purchased had it's own GPS sensor that I had to stick onto the windshield.
