Power Windows/Roof

Post by btbrewer »

I hate that only auto function on the power windows is only on the drivers door and only in one direction. My Vibe replaced a QX4. I know that it was more expensive, but how much could it cost to have auto open and close on at least all of the front windows and the roof? That's the only thing I miss about that SUV. Does anyone know if it is possible to make an aftermarket change to get gain this feature? I would love to do it. I rarely use the ac. I like the windows down and it was really nice to be able to quickly, open or close everything. Thanks,BTBrewer

You actually have auto power down all the way around, but it doesn't kick in until 6,000 rpms Actually, I think the auto is tied to a second toggle that actually is activated when you push the button down a little further. If you notice, pushing the button down slightly will lower the window and then pushing down farther, almost like another click, turns on the auto. The other buttons do not have this second position so there really isn't a relay built in. I think that you would have to run a lot of new relays for something like this. I do agree though, how hard can it be to wire this in.
