Check out this link about a low-life that stole a 1980 Vette....that didn't have any brake fluid in it. http://www.tdn.com/articles/2003/08/27/ ... 01.txtThey caught him. It made me laugh to read he was treated for dog bites!

I feel bad for the couple...he spent all that time restoring it, she was gonna get to enjoy it, and now they have a pile of charred metal...

Amazing to see the picture of the wrecked vette and then read that the driver fled on foot after the accident.Not very clear on why there was no brake fluid, especially if they had just spent time waxing it up to get it ready to use in their wedding. My priority would have been the brakes.

Sad and funny all at the same time. The icing on the cake would have been if the driver ended up as a quadripalegic (ie?) for the rest of his life.
