Well tomorrow night I will finally be a Vibe owner. Finally got my house refinanced, so getting the Vibe was next on my list. They are doing a dealer trade to get it. 2004 Vibe (base)SalsaTwo TonePower PackageMoon & TunesI can't wait to get behind the wheel and drive. My wife also can't wait. She is hoping that I'll finally shut up about the car. LOL I showed by 10 year old Nephew a couple of weeks ago the Vibe and he has been making his mother, sister, grandma, etc...drive by the dealership to check it out. He knows just about everything that the Pontiac.com site will tell you about the Vibe.... LOL Maybe there will be a Vibe in his future I'll try to post pics right away tomorrow.... but I might be too busy driving YES FINALLY!!!!!!! I'm a true Vibe Owner

I know what your feeling. I went through the same for about 6 months before I convinced my wife that I needed to get rid of my car and get a Vibe.Good luck and happy driving!Just curious - automatic or manual?
quote:I'm not too embarassed to say that my (future) wife taught me to drive stick when I was 18.My wife (then girlfriend of 6 months) taught me how to drive a standard too! That was seven years ago. She had a Geo Metro with the 4 cyl and a 5 speed. Despite the fact that it barely made 100 hp it moved pretty quickly. I managed to get my only two speeding tickets in that car! No cruse control + curvey, hill roads + Manual tranny = FUN!
Well I picked up my baby tonight from the dealership. Only had 161 miles on it. I only added about 20 but I sure enjoyed those 20.Picked up the Vibe and went shopping with the wife. When we got out it was nice and dark. I hadn't seen the Vibe at night. What a beauty. I love how the 2004 panel lights up. It is sweet. All I can say to everyone here is thank you for letting me read all your posts about the vibe for the past 2 months. Now that I have one I can understand what everyone was saying.I'm going to love driving this baby everywhere.... Heck I already do

Congrats on picking up your Vibe! I love the way the dash looks at night too. The car is a blast to drive, even if you just drive around the corner. I feel like that guy in that commercial who gets in his car, adjusts the sunroof, lets his windows down and then basically does a U-turn in the street to go to his friends house. Then at the end of the commercial, he goes for chips at the store that is right next door.
