I purchaced a Vibrant Strut tower Brace from what I thought was a reputable dealer on E-bay. The brace seemed well built and cost $75 usd. I chose the BUY IT NOW on the 8th of August. After No communication for 4 days I emailed the seller only to learn that he had not even revieved the item I had Purchased. Today is the 21st and I just now recieved my bar 13 days after purchase. Two problems. The bar is for a toyota Corolla and is missing one end of the attatchment. I'll attach a picture.....
Way steep for that bar. The $30 ebay bar is better. Make him take it back or arbitrate through ebay. If you paypaled you also have recourse. Say you wont wait 2 more weeks for the missing part. You'll be out shipping back but you'll more than save it on a better bar. Get the bar with the flanges that go strait to the other side of the car and don't stick foward first like this one. Your bar will probably fit because the width is adjustable and the mountings will fit both cars.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
I ordered and installed the exact same bar. It took a while to get mine as well because it was back ordered but all the parts were there. I liked it because it was blue, like everything else under the hood. I seen that it was for a Corolla, but it fits great. It made a difference in mine. I will try and get some pics posted. I don't know if you had the same seller as I did, but I had great communication with him. When I opened the box, one of the brackets were attatched to the bar and the other was loose in the box. I can feel the change in handling but the Hotchkis spings make a bigger difference.

I've got a set of progress springs that have to be put on so I hope all of this works out. it probabbly is the same selller since mine was back ordered as well.
You're right, it probably is. I like the way the bar looks in there. I would contact him and either return it or get the other bracket. It just depends on how bad you want it in there. I didn't think it was a bad price considering the Freedom Design bar is $89.95 regular price at PTuning. Anyways, here is a pic of it installed.

I spent the extra money on the insurance so I left him two emails about it. I also contacted VibrantPerformance.com and the y were most helpfull. They are going to find me a plate and send it for free.
*POST BUMP*Hey guys, this blue STB is exactly what I've been looking for. Any info re the eBay seller, quality, where else to buy, etc would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Yes, they're the same, but what I specifically want is the blue powdercoat/anodized look. Personally, I don't know if STB's really do anything, so, if I were to buy one, it would be for looks only
Well, after searching high and low today (thanks Triton), I've yet to find anyone selling these. So, I emailed Vibrant direct for the skinny. Will advise on my findings. FYI, they sell them in polished and candy red finishes as well.
!!Update!!I just received a very friendly (and prompt!) email from a Mr. Dino Rossi at Vibrant Performance as follows:Quote »Hi Christian This item is not readily available from our online dealers yet but it will be soon. Your best bet to get one of these bars is Contemporary Motorsports. They have #1873B listed on their site but they have it listed to fit a 2003+ Corolla (this bar also fits the Vibe and Matrix). I think they sell this bar for about $42.00 + shipping. Please give these fine people a call at 1-800-661-2538. They may not have it in stock but we can drop ship it for them from our warehouse in Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, we are not generally allowed to sell directly to the public. Thanks, Dino RossiVibrant PerformanceThanks to Dino @ Vibrant and Jason @ CMS, I just finished placing my order with Contemporary Motorsports. Although their online product navigation is a bit tedious, their prices are good, s&h even better, checkout was a breeze, and phone/order assistance A+. All in all, the STB was $42, and I picked up an AEM Tru-Power Pully kit for $77 ($68 @ adventon.com). Plus s&h of $9.95, total was $128.95...and no sales tax (woo hoo!).
