Radio lights

Post by Deschler »

I guys I am new to this forum. Anyway I have read that you can not replace the lights under the lcd screen, I took this bad boy apart last week and there are three Lights. It looks like u could un-solder and solder new ones in.

MANY members have done it, including me, and I'm not the best at soldering! I got the bulbs from the parts store, cut and unbent the wires so they would be straight, and was able to remove the old bulbs and solder in the new ones. Took me a little while, but it works great now.

There are a couple of threads on here about it including the instructions and bulb types we've used.
