Fuel Tank Replacement

I'm in the process of replacing the sub-frame in the rear end of an AWD 2003 model. Now that I have the old, rusty, broken one out, I've noticed the gas tank is very rusty all around the edges, and have decided to replace it too while I can get at it. It's been difficult finding a tank to replace the rusty one. I did find one at a salvage yard not to far way that is on a 2003 AWD Matrix, however the salvage guy told me they are listed in the salvage database as having different part #s than the Vibe one.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the Fuel Tank for the AWD model on a Matrix will fit in a Vibe AWD model?

You can pull the one from yours and the one at the yard and compare them if you're nervous, but there's no reason they'd actually be different parts. That's not one of the areas GM changed the Vibe (HVAC, exterior styling, some electronics).
