Need quick answer - dumb question

Post by Chris »

Hi! My wife decided to go 4x4ing in the vibe over a curb (ouch) and smoked the front right tire.Since I need to purchase a new one, can anyone tell me the exact name and size of the Conti stock tire on the 16" rim for the 2003? I know its a Conti but I cannot remember the "name" it's a touring or something like that. Also I'm pretty sure I know the size but - if you all could just confirm all the info for me? THanks so much!A slightly poorer Chris.

Whoever you take the car to when you replace the tire should be able to tell what tire is on there...the info is all on the sidewall of the tire...

Yeah, I didn't give you exact info because I don't have Conti's, I have no idea...

You're lucky you don't have Contis - the side walls suck

I hear Conti's suck period.I have the Goodyear Eagle RS/A stock tires...they have good wear life, but traction on any road surface -- wet, dry, snow, ice -- sucks. Might as well attach skis to the car...will get better traction that with these tires...

I have the Contis but I didn't remember by heart the name. I juste do a quick search on Google and found out the info.Plus, I saw those little Contis on BMW 3 series (the same exact tire as the Vibe, even the size is the same). So they sould not be as crappy as some people say.
