Black may not contrast enough from the silver, and may make it hard to read...I'd love to see the purple, I think that would look pretty snifty!

Go with your favorite color. And besides, the purple would look good with Satellite when it is reflecting or not.

Reflective Dark Red would be my choice - Offers a good contrast to the Satellite without being to drab(sp?).I can imagine purple being good to though

quote:Could anybody explain to me what the overlays are? They are vinyl stickers that go over the badges and Pontiac arrows on your Vibe. Go to GrafxWerks and check out the products section for the Vibe. You will see them there. Or do a search and look for "GrafxWerks" or "badge overlays" and you will find multiple results with pics.

i always believe it's more important to get what you like, now matter what everyone else thinks.if you are indecisive, ask for help, if purple is your favorite color, go ahead and slap it on there!evindently, altezzas aren't too popular with this crowd, but as soon as they come out, i'll have them

Do the overlays look proffessional? I've seen pictures of them, but cannot get a good feel. I have an abyss two-tone and am thinking about the bright yellow overlays for all "VIBE" and "GT" badges, plus the PONTIAC on the back hatch and a 3rd brake light cover that says "VIBE GT". Any opinions?

Thanks for the heads up! I did remember reading that one, but it didn't even occur to me! A little "senior-moment".

*tip* leaving the badge wet, and maybe even wetting the decal will help with easier installation. this way, it will still move around a little after you get it on there. once they are on, if they are dry, you can not get them back off without stretching them out and ruining them

Congrats!!! I had the same issue before I ordered mine, I really like purple, but I wasn't sure if it would look ok. My Vibe is Shadow and I totally love the reflective purple overlays. I'm sure they'll look awesome on your Sattelite! Here is what mine look like.

Take some pics for us when you get them. They are really awesome! I have bright reflective red ones on my Neptune Vibe and just yesterday got a compliment from a Civic driver!

Well I know this is old now, but I too have the satellite (two-tone though) 2004, and I ordered the reflective orange overlays from grafxwerks because orange is my favorite color! I think it looks really cool--now I'm just waiting for it to warm up a bit so I can wash the car and get some pictures up on here. The purple looks great Michele!
