Size comparison, '05 Vibe VS '14 Soul

In another thread, I made the comment that my Wife's new Soul is like a mini van in size compared to the Vibe.

Yet, despite the Soul's sheer girth, the Vibe will haul more.

Here's a few pics I took yesterday..........







I thought the Soul was Kia's 'small' car? The Vibe is like a go kart next to it.

Not long after picking up my '08 Vibe, I drove a rental '15 Soul, and I couldn't stand it compared to the Vibe. It felt much taller, but with less window, and I definitely missed the cargo capacity of my much smaller Vibe. Plus the rental Soul had the 2.0-liter which knocked my mpgs down to 29. Not cool, Kia.

Wow, when they said Kia upsized the Soul they weren't kidding... I took a comparison pic with my Vibe next to a previous-generation Soul. Height-wise the Vibe is a little bigger as my Vibe is lowered.

My daughter has a 2010 Soul and next to my 2010 Vibe there's not alot of difference on the size appearance from the outside. On the inside tho my vibe has more cargo space with the Soul having more passenger room. IMO the forward visibilty is better in the Soul. I doubt the Soul will be as reliable ( we've only had it 3 months) and the milegae isnt as good either.
