2005 Base Model 5 Speed Clutch Dust Cover?

Post by bikes1 »

I had my clutch replaced last winter and I just noticed that the flywheel and ring gear is visible from the rear underneath the car.

I felt around the area and can't feel anywhere for a cover to mount to but it seems odd to have it exposed like that.

Does anyone know if there is a cover there?

Thanks

I just pulled the trans from my 03 GT and the flywheel is exposed at the bottom of the transmission too. I guess it is designed that way.

There are a great number of cars and trucks made that way, auto and standard.
