Interior color of seat and armrest

Post by orion134 »

I am in search of a dual-layer armrest for my 2004 GT. I thought I read somewhere that all the interiors were the exact same, does that mean the same color? Also, is there a Toyota color that cross-references or matches to my interior color? It seems way easier to find a Matrix armrest than a Vibe one.

Also, it smells like a herd of cats peed on a morbidly obese man in my backseat. If it comes to it, I may have to replace my backseat. Same questions: will a Matrix seat fit? Are all Vibe seats the same color (it appears the 05+ have a checker pattern)? Will 06+ (or whenever the design changed a little bit) seats fit in my 04?

This is a fun little car, but I need a place to rest my arm and I need to not stink when I get to work.

All armrests from 03-08 are the same color, however, only 03/04 had the double-layer one. The Vibe and Matrix share interiors, so a Matrix rear seat and armrest will fit.

Just to clarify:

So are all the armrests 03/04 the same color in both Vibe and Matrix?

All Matrix and Vibe rear seats will fit my 04 rear?

I think Toyota continues the double-layer armrest beyond 04, and that one should fit my console?

All armrests, no matter the year, are the same color. Any color difference is result of sunfade.

Any Matrix/Vibe seats from 03-08 will fit your 04.

A small amount of research says yes, Toyota did continue the double-layer armrest all the way to 08.

I'm so confused. I keep reading that all interiors are the same, however, I am in contact with a member on here parting out an 03 and his seats look very black and my seats look very grey.

Are all the 03-08 seats the same color?

They had two interior colors - Slate and Graphite. The plastics were all the same color but the seat and front door panel insert fabrics were different.

Slate fabric was a lighter gray, Graphite was almost black.

According to an old thread about the 2005's, there was change in fabric pattern starting that year. I can't remember what exactly the difference was.
