Rear swaybar

Does anyone know theon the two rear bolts that secure the rear swaybar in place i"m getting a creeking noise from the rear of the car.

My book shows a "stabilizer shaft" that attaches to the rear axle with one bolt/nut on each side for FWD (AWD is different). If this is what you mean, then the book says to torque them to a mighty 195 N-m, or 143.8 lb-ft. Hope you ate your wheaties.

i put it at 150 ft/lbs

Does anybody have any pics of the rear strut bar in place? I'm not familiar with rear strut bars. Do they go underneath the car, or inside the car?

A strut bar goes on top of the struts, being the front wheel drive vibes do not run struts in the back there isn't really a need for one. But what I think you mean is a sway bar which goes under the car, to stabilize/minamize body roll. i hope this helps

20 mins, tops for me.Problem was getting to the bolts, other than that it's pretty easy :D
