Stereo lights on, but now power, cig lighter out too.

I plugged in a USB/car charger in my cig lighter and it ended up shorting something out. The cig lighter does not work anymore but it still is illuminated. The head unit/radio is the same way. I can push the recall button and the led screen lights up with the time but the power button does nothing. I pulled the cig fuse under the dash and it was blown, replaced it and it didn't do a thing (also didn't blow again).

Any way to fix this? I might go get another head unit,Pioneer FH-X700BT, while I'm at it, but don't want to get it and have it not work as well. I guess I need some advice on what happened and if there is any current fix or solution.

All the times I've shorted out the cheap Toyota lighter socket by actually using it, I've blown the CIG fuse, which takes out the radio. If the only things not working are the radio and the power outlet, then either the fuse is blown, or perhaps you put the fuse in the wrong slot. There are some normally empty slots near it, might be worth double checking its in right and in the right spot.
