questions about lowering my viber

Post by good vibes »

Here are yet a few more questions that I have: (hey I like to be informed What's a good brand of springs for lowering? Is there anything else needed like a camber spacer or anything like that? what's a good price for something good, just so I don't get ripped off. And a final question, is this something that I could do myself, I have some mechanical knowledge, or would I be better of having a shop do it for me?

If you are doing a lowering springs (awd) the drop is not going to be the same as they said ii is going to be. I did a 2.2 drop and it ended up with almost a 4 inch as a pic on a different topic about lowering awd . I finally found a drop that is not to much and still looks good and rides really good . I did the hotchkins spring and i got a 1 3/4 -2 inch drop and i love it now.john

i got the suspension package from ptuning. Installed it all in a few days. If your doing it yourself, you need an impact wrench, an air compressor to power it, and spring compressors. If you havnt ever done anything with cars before, let someone else do it. The progressive springs gave me about a 2.4 inch drop. I love it, and with the other suspension stuff it realyl feels like a different car.

Hey John, how much did you pay for your springs? That sounds about what I would be intirested in doing. Could you give me a oart number on them? I'm thinking a spring time investment could be in the works....thanks dude
