I just wanted to see where most of you have been ordering your CAI's. If you could also comment on the service you received I'd appreciate it. I've been reading how some people have found that Adventon is not an authorized retailer for Injen and that is originally where I intended to order my CAI. Thanks,

o man if your in VA definitely get it from ptuning their in Va too. Youll get like overnight delivery. I get mine in 2 days and im in NJ. If i was further away id probably get it somewhere else just because i hate waiting . But ptuning has good service and you can call them and confirm stuff etc.
I was just trying to find the banner for the 5% discount on MatrixVibe.net and had no luck. I remember it being right at the top of most pages. Any idea where it is?Thanks,

How you figure.Radiant heat energy is given off by any object above absolute zero temperature (minus 460 F.) and a reflective surface will absorb less of the heat from the engine block, exhaust, etc. than a dark colour.
I bought my Magnaflow exhaust from ptuning & it was a rip! Having said that, I'll probably still by the CAI from them....if I can't find it cheaper elsewhere. And yes, delivery is overnight in VA

bah $255 for the same INJEN intake, I got mine for $212 plus shipping. http://www.hopupracing.com all the way always cheap and great service, tho their phones can be kind of busy sometimeshere is the actual INJEN CAIhttp://www.hopupracing.com/inradicoairi7.html
I got mine from Ptuning. I got the intake in four days, My exhaust took about nine, so I got pissed off at them for a little while and after a few heated e-mail exchanges it turns out that it was Fed-Ex's fault. My intake had been delivered, but the tracking website said my exhaust hadn't even left the warehouse yet. Fed-Ex destroyed the barcode on the label somehow and they couldn't scan it. So it took about 9 days to get here. I felt really bad because I had been a little rude to Ptuning.
Lol the one for the Matrix is $248 at teh cheapest for the XRS and then the one they have for the Vibe (altho they don't specify if its the base or GT, which is kind of crappy) is $216

http://www.ultrarev.com . I wouldn't recommend anymore. If their product is on back order, I would never order from them. But if they have the product in stock, they're pretty good about getting their parts out. $225 shipped from ultrarev for a black injen CAI

Got an Injen for my 2004 Base Vibe today from Ptuning, $194.00 delivered. 1st one came damaged but Toan at Ptuning was able to have Injen send a replacement directly. Will be installing it this weekend.
got mine on ebay, of course didn't read the fine print the said "FOR GT ONLY" but after some minor mods to the air flow sensor, it worked, think i got it for $100 or so

I got mine from raceoptions and got Injen model RD7025P, which is for the standard Vibe, but I've got a GT. I got it installed and it works great, but I'm wondering what the difference between the CAI models are?

I voted a while back but I guess I never posted to show where I got it. I ordered mine through http://www.mmrusa.com[Mantaray Motorsports]. It was like $220 shipped but was the Injen RD7025B and was polished black. They are somewhat local so I could have saved on shipping, but I didn't feel like driving the 1/2 hour to go get it, so I paid an extra $10. They are really helpful as it came without the CARB sticker and when I called them about it, they looked it up on Injens website, gave me the URL, and told me exactly what I needed to do to get one. I'm sure most would have just told me I had to get it from the manufacturer and hung up, but they were really nice about it.

so whats the diff between cosmo and ingen? besides the cosmo being cheaper.after reading some posts it looks like the dyno says ingen does better with 1zz engines...looks like im going ingen when i order mine.
mostly the difference is in R & D. Injen can afford it and Cosmo cannot. also, if you are in a location where emissions is an issue, then you want one that is CARB legal such as Injen, TRD, K&N, AEM, etc. you don't purchase the cheap ones because they may not and you'd have to re-install the stock airbox before any inspections. realistically, on the CAI, it's not going to matter much on which one you get other than making sure it comes with that CARB legal sticker if you need it.
oh yes, i bought my TRD intake from Conicelli Parts in PA. they shipped it to me right after it was released May 03. it now is on an 03 XRS in Toronto, Canada.
203 for cai..nice...damn im drunk and iwould click this buy button...i really need to block these buttons gotta pay tuition next sem and a ps3 or i would buy it!
I also bought mine from Ptuning. I bought the package deal they have. Magnaflow Cat back and Injen CAI for around $525.00. Best investment I made for the Vibe to date.
