Fun with GMpartsdirect and paypal

Post by leemur »

I recently tried to order front mudflaps for my 04' 2-tone and front bumper cover pieces for my 09'. The flaps were $36.-- and the covers were almost $9 each. GMparts direct listed these prices and a total on shipping of $15.24. Total around $70.

I went through paypal got to the next to the last page with my totals...next continue button was the actual purchase. Didn't go that far. The total cost said $256.--. Whoa!! My almost $9 covers each had $101 shipping costs.

I contacted GMpartsdirect and the said that paypal was using their old site info and would straighten it out, that my $70 number was correct. I decided to order directly from the credit card rather than paypal and it came up $15.24 for shipping.

So...if you have trouble with shipping costs using paypal, this could be the reason.

Try Parts4chevys.com. They sell GM parts and usually there prices are cheaper and you don't get sticker shock with shipping cost.
