I have a 2006 base Pontiac Vibe and I've been noticing the radio (monsoon system) has been crappier with reception than when I first got it like 2 years ago. Anyone know if it's a problem with the radio or antenna?

It could be the amlifier for the antenna. its located in the base of the mast. If that goes out or is going out you get bad reception as a result. Also you do have the factory antenna on it still right? That can also cause bad reception as the system is set for that spacific ohm rating inthe mast.
