Another Maryland Vibe Owner

I'm a proud owner of a new Vibe GT. Colored Abyss with M&T, the power package,monotone coloring, and sports package. I have had her for one full day now, and I'm still learning how to drive stick!I have been checking out these forums alot in the past few weeks while researching this car. Many of your stories were very helpful in making my decision.Thanks a lot!This is what she looks like: One thing that really drew me to this car is how few of them there are on the road - at least here in MD. I have told many people that I was going to replace my Altima (which was wrecked in an accident) with a Pontiac Vibe. The most common reaction I got was, "A what? I never heard of that car before." (I posted this in the lounge too, but I wanted to put another thread in the MD board. There are sooooooo few Vibes out here...)

Sorry for the long delay in replying... I was out practicing stick again. It turns out that the reason the car kept stalling was that I was putting the car in 3rd gear, not 1st! The two gears are so close together that I couldn't tell the difference!Perhaps we can host a mini-Vibe get-together some day like they did in Michigan? For MD, VA and DC. That could be an enjoyable way to spend the day.As for mods... the only thing I plan on doing is tinting my windows, applying some vinyl overlay decals, and perhaps put in a CAI. That last one is a big maybe.
