From Thursday June 20th:
The Elbow river, just east of Bow falls
See the black in front of the bridge? The river's eating it away. That bridge, as I've read on the news, is now downstream.
This is the entrance to the popular quadding area Mclean creek. That road is now gone.
The Ghost river. I'm about 20-30kms North of Banff on the other side of the mountains.
This is the end of the road as there never was a way across the river.... the road is just a little shorter now.
This is a lot steeper then it looks to get back up from the river.
A little further downstream.
Today, June 23rd, overlooking the city center.... the water's gone down quite a bit!
That white Impala in the middle was underwater Friday night.
Mmmmmmm, brown!
