question about GT and Base

Post by Merzbow »

If iI were to get a CAI system for my base Vibe, would the GT CAI system work for the base model as well? Because I'm not having luck finding any for the base model, although it does seem like it would work for both. -={Paul}=-

NO! The motors and part numbers are very different. If you are having trouble finding one for the Vibe, look under the Toyota Matrix. XR = Base and XRS = GT. Where are you looking to order one from?

Actually I just found one for the base model. Its a package that also contains a Borla exhaust system at http://www.ptuning.com.

That will definately work. PTuning is one of the only websites that lists the Vibe for that part. The combo package will definately work for you.
