Some interesting vibe related info in there"What’s particularly notable is the fact that Vibe is now outselling the nearly identical Toyota Matrix"and "Pontiac hopes to begin addressing that this coming autumn, when it begins offering an aftermarket supercharger."This autumn?!!!
I can't get too excited about the GTO, because it'll probably be like all the other Pontiacs. Other than the Aztek, which I really don't like, the Vibe is the only Pontiac with enough headroom for me.I wish they'd revive a classic design, like the late 60's Firebird. For me, that's what a car should look like.
erm..quote:With its 350-horsepower LS1 engine promising 0-to-60 mph times in the 5.5-second range, the GTO is designed to revive the era when Pontiac was king of the road. But while there’s been plenty of advance praise for the Australian import’s performance, its jellybean styling has generated a decidedly more tepid responseWTF? Australian?
quote:(removed)? Australian? It's been discussed here before. The GTO is based on the Holden Monaro. and will be built by Holden in Australia and shipped to the US. There is a nice shot of the Monaro at Holden's web site, http://www.holden.com.au/ .
