just wanted to introduce myself

Post by 09Viberator »

hey, been reading and browsing around the site for the past few days and wanted to introduce myself here. I currently own a white 2009 Pontiac Vibe 100% base with the 1.8 engine and 4 speed auto, bought it brand new from our local dealer in April of 2009. I think that this car is very nice and that i soon would like to get a 09/10 gt but until then i think that I would like to do some upgrades to the one that I got....

Welcome to GenVibe! My advice to you would be if you're considering replacing your 1.8L Base with a GT, don't spend money on modifying the 1.8L Base. Save that money and spend it on the GT. Either way, post some pictures of your 1.8L Base when you get a chance ;)!

Welcome to GenVibe :D As Carrie mentioned, do NOTHING to the base! Wait to you get the GT model then let your imagination run wild 8-) Post pics when you get around to it. Also thanks for letting us see where you're located. Now some of us who are near you could refer any potential GT sales your way. It helps us all!

Hello and welcome! I agree with you that white is a great color. I would have been happy with the 1.8L (with stick shift) if I could have gotten other options like the moon roof and the upgraded stereo.

ya this vibe does not have the factory automatic doors, windows and moonroof... it is the most basic model available but it does come with xm radio....

going from an Aspire/Hyundai to the vibe in a few years.... it right now is mom and dad's car
