Picked up another vibe

Well found an 07 base vibe on craigslist and ended up buying it. Its a base, auto, fwd, very basic with 91k. 1 owner (older guy), clean carfax and it passed my inspection. Got it for well under book value and id say it is in good condition. Just gotta give it a good cleaning and i want to change all the fluids out very soon. This will be our 4th vibe overall, my sister has our 06 awd and the 04 was traded for the 06 and well i found my exgf her 03 vibe. Really wanted something basic to use for running around instead of our pickup trucks. I felt it was a great deal and hope all will be good with it.

Awesome addition to your fleet FOUR Vibe's & counting! If that isn't a testimonial to these cars being extremely dependable, then I don't know what is Nice Color too (my second fav color & Junior's Vibe color) Enjoy this one for several more years

My son bought a lightly used 2005 Vibe with well less than 30,000 miles on it in 2007. I drove it, and then bought a 2008. So we have 1/2 the fleet of Vibes you have or have had so far. These are a tough bunch of cars. Hopefully the older gent that owned it did the oil changes. Looks like it's in great shape. Interiors on these cars are durable, too.

Finding a Vibe in good shape and under book value is tough to do. Good catch!

yeah its like a used car lot here at our place. Carfax shows a lot of the oil changes and the ecu was replaced per the recall. Im comfortable with the vibe to look them over and drive them and know how everything should be thats why we went to look at it. The guy said it has made the trip from PA to CALI before, which was 7500 miles round trip. it also did trips to Missouri a few times and many trips to his cabin in WV. He just bought a new Chevy Cruze and was selling the Vibe. It should do fine for running around when the trucks arent needed plus regular gas is a lot cheaper than diesel fuel here.

My favorite color on the vibe was our first one, the shadow. I like this blue too but just sucks cause the 03 i found my exgf back in the day was also the neptune blue i will say i miss that car more than i miss her lol

4 Vibes... awesome! We've got 2 and I am constantly telling my dad he needs to get one so we can have 3 !

Well 4 Vibes in a total of 9 years, we currently only have the 2. We were kinda kicking around a HHR but I think the Vibe looks much better. Chances are we wouldnt have got another Vibe but couldnt pass it up for the price we got on it.

Well got it today, just did an oil change and a quick cleaning. Guy had white dog and its gonna take some effort to get all the hair out of the carpet. Owner did most of the oil changes and wrote them in the book, about every 3-4k miles. Has a newer battery, a new air filter, have a new set of front brake pads that he had for the car. Im going to pull the wheels and check the pads here very soon.

Hope to do a complete fluid flush in a few weeks when it warms up, along with a good buff and wax. Gonna repaint the steelies too.

Had to laugh at the DMV, the owner asked if i was a mechanic because he was impressed how i looked over the Vibe a few days ago at his house and with the amount of knowledge i had about them. I just said its a hobby of mine to work on cars and after 3 of them i knew what they should be like.

Well finally had both Vibes together and freshly washed. Our blue one is almost at 98k now and the silver is up to 85k. Both got full services done by me and they are good to go now. Our blue one also cleaned up well after a full detail and some fresh paint on the steelies.
