09 Vibe recall

Post by bigdaddyjosh »

Hi I got a notice today for a recall for some kind of switch related to windows I think. I just kind of glanced at it. It says it can cause a fire. Has anyone else received something to this effect?

We discussed this recently in this thread viewtopic.php?f=41&t=39715" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Call your dealer schedule it, and they should have it fixed in about an hour.

This is incorrect. The letter informs you of the problem and says you will receive a second letter when a solution is available. You're only supposed to call the dealer if you have any sort of issues with the master window switch on the driver's side door panel, otherwise you are supposed to wait for the second letter ;).
