I picked up a new steering cover from walmart...you know those one peice covers that slip over the wheel & i dont likeit at all. It makes the steering wheel feel so thick & bulky. Does anyone know if they even make them a bit thinner? I had to take it off cause I couldnt take it anymore LOL. I checked Advance Auto & Autozone & all I could find is the slip on ones. Thx!

I had a Wheelskin on my Olds Cutlass many years ago. It was a very nice leather cover with a lace up seam on the inside edge that you stitch up yourself. It was a nice feeling thin cover, but it was relatively pricey. ($30 back then, about $55-65 now) The only issue I had was the top edge did start to crack due to the sun, but that can be minimized by treating it and maybe using a window shade. IMO it was worth it over the cheap hard plastic GM wheel for sure.
Thanks for the reply. 54 bucks though LOL. They look REALLY nice !!!

I had a wheel skin on my Grand Am, and really liked it.
After several years the white leather started to ware, but a little white shoe polish, and it was good to go again
