New Injen Web Site

Post by retiredfields »

Injen has revamped their WEB site. It is interesting that they no longer list the Vibe in their CAI applications section. The previous site had the Vibe listed separately.

It's the same as the matrix! I didn't think they listed them both, did they?

Injen never listed the Pontiac Vibe on their website. You have to get the one that is listed for the Matrix.

injen never confirmed vibe compatibility.adventon.com and ptuning.com list it as a compatbile CAI though...on a side note, if you go to http://www.injen.com/equipped.html you can see a vibe at the bottom of the screen.

quote:Injen used the AWD Vibe to create a CAI that fits perfectly and it will be released in the near future.Damn. Wish they would exchange them for us owners who had to force-fit the Matrix one. I'd even be willing to pay $30 or smething to swap it out. GRRR....this sucks...kinda wish I waited now...I'm STILL dreading having to, somehow, access the filter for cleaning and maintenance down the line. UGH...

I have been waiting also but because I live in California i will need a CARB# for smog. Can't get it for a Matrix and use it for a Vibe.

Injen did list the Vibe GT on their previous WEB site. Adventon did not, but after I ordered my CAI and told Adventon that Injen had the Vibe listed, Adventon added it to their site. It is still on Adventon's site.

I sent my CAI back to Injen last week because it would not fit in the GT. Headlight in the way, engine compartment side wall in the way, wrong angle at the throttle end, etc. Maybe I will get one made for this car and that fits properly. I will call them today to find out the status.Anyone know the name of someone at Injen that should know what the status is on the new intake?
