Need help with wire harness

I have A 2010 Vibe gt and i really want to replace this D**n stock head unit. i have the built in sub also. I was thinking and came up with another question , would it work if i used a 2010 matrix harness since my car has toyota wires and toyota radio? so if not do i need to buy that really expensive wire harness? i dont use Onstar so i dont need it
