Anyway, we have a 2003 pontiac vibe that has something wrong with the engine. It is most likely a blown gasket. We purchased the vehicle for $5500 in 2010, and are in the market for a new vehicle, so instead of paying the $1000+ to find out why we have no compression, it would be much easier to simply sell the thing as a parts or project car.
Details:
-There are somewhere around 130,000 miles on it.
-Everything, aside from the engine is in working order.
-No chips in windshield, etc.
-The only 'blemishes' include: driver's side-view mirror unit has the glass broken out (though, you can find replacement kits online for $45); the wind-shield-wiper-fluid reservoir is cracked about 30% of the way up, so it only holds about 30% of the fluid; there are no fog lights, though the front-bumper has space for them; and, obviously, the engine might be shot; the driver's side door window/lock panel has a broken piece of plastic, and as such, is sort-of falling into the door.
It is currently in Wakeeney, KS (even longer story... towed it back to wakeeney from hays because we thought they'd be able to look at it immediately when everything in hays was closed).
