How to wire an anti-theft fuel pump shut-off switch?

Post by vibedrive »

Some friends in my home town have wired in various DIY anti-theft options. One of these is apparently a hidden toggle to kill the fuel pump? Help. I'm completely lost on this, but I travel in some scetchy neighborhoods and would like to do something more than "The Club" on my steering wheel.
Thanks.

Pull up the rear seat and pull back the film over the hole in the middle. That's the fuel pump. Cut the black wire and hook up a switch and wire it wherever you feel it best be placed.

Or you could pull the fuel pump fuse and take it with you.

Thanks, I'll take a look and let you know how this works out. I'd like a hidden remote switch idea.
