Drivers seat lumbar support

Post by DennisLee »

I started having problems with my back after I had the Vibe for a couple months. I had taken to driving with a folded up towel behind my lower back. I stopped at a local auto upholstery shop last week to see if they had any ideas. Came back today, and for $75 they installed an additional foam support into the lower part of the seat back. Need to drive it for a few days to see if they have it in just the right spot, but I think my problems are over! :D

Good idea! I plan to pull my driver's seat apart to replace the bottom fabric, and maybe I can add in a lumbar bladder from an old Mustang GT seat. I do miss being able to pump the seatback up if I need to for my back, but luckily it does not really bother me that much in this car.
