I know this is probably a stupid question, but you know what they say "The only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked". At least I think that's what they say. I need to change my front driver's side turn signal bulb. Do I have to take the battery out like when changing the headlight? Keep in my mind I have large hands. If there's already a link I'd appreciate that info, also.
Take out the battery. I have thin hands, and I have a heluva time getting in that space. However, I declared victory when I actually replaced a driver side headlight bulb in a parking lot. THAT was a great moment... Anyway, I'd say pull the battery. It's one screw. Just push it to the side, with the leads still connected. Only so much so that you can finagle your way to the bulb. But if you're having issues, remove it completely. It's not worth the struggle. Heck, it's hard enough replacing the passenger-side bulb...
