Parking brake bypass question

Another question! I've bought a Pioneer 2400BT and will install the 12v relay to bypass the parking brake restriction.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question: Obviously the Vibe doesn't have a power antenna, but mine does have the factory amp. Could I connect my HU's power antenna wire to the relay rather than having to splice the power amp wire? Then just cap the power antenna wire on the adapter harness?

UPDATE: Ended up splicing power amp wire. Relay works like a charm.
