How hard is it to replace tweeters..

I have the stock tweeters in my 08 vibe, I was thinking about swapping them out with some nicer ones. Has anyone ever done this? If anyone could let me know that'd be great! Thank you for any responses

It's easy. Pull off the sail-panel (little thing that covers them). Don't break it though, they're impossible to find. Remove the door panel by prying it free from the clips along the bottom first. Once all that is off, it's just a plug and two screws.

Thank you! I didn't know it'd be that easy. Have you swapped out yours with some better tweeters? if so how big of a difference can some good tweeters make?

Hard to say. I've replaced all my speakers with Kenwood speakers. When I got my Vibe the only sound I got for my left ear was the rear speaker and tweeter, and by the time I replaced them the tweeter was going too. The one in the door was blown. Now though my new tweeter on the left is going in and out (small issue, I've got Blacktie warranty so I just need to stop by Best Buy one day to have it fixed), but when it is on it does make a difference. It's cheap versus quality. I got better range of sound, deeper bass... better everything. Now as compared to my friend's 4-speaker OEM setup, it's a world apart. In that one it's obvious you're listening to some cheap speakers. With mine you can get immersed in the sound, but not as well as the new Camaro. That Bose system is great, and with sound deadening and a smaller area it sounds better than the airy, soundproof-less Vibe. But hey, new speaker make a world of difference if you care about sound. I never knew I cared until I bought the Vibe and would drive alone. Funny how that works out...
