HI GUYS! several days before I wrote a topic in Tech Info & Do-It-Yourself Info Bar about to ask how to recharge the refrigerant in to my vibe. in that time I believe there is no leak in my AC system.
but yesterday I finally noticed there is a leak in the high pressure hose.I could see the oil and sludge deposit in the surface of one segment of the hose. others is clean. So the refrigerant and oil of compressor was gone.
the hose is covered by rubber, is the hose inside metal?
now what could I do? could I use the RED TEK Aerosol ProSeal to fix it? the instructions said, "an advanced a/c seal treatment from Thermofluid Technologies, is a formulated system designed to seal both metal and rubber parts of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. ProSeal is chemically activated by moisture at the leak sight to form a permanent seal. "
but the position where is leak is the high pressure side hose. so it's very hot just go out of the compressor. I doubt there is no condensation water to make the activation.
and how much compressor oil was leaked?
but If I want to fix it in a autoservices to replace the hose, recharge everything, it's at least 300 $ I thought.
what do you recommand?
