Cosmetic damage to Radio Bezel

Post by meidou »

Hey Guys
I was in the process of installing my Scan Guage last week and scratched the surface of the radio Bezel :( .In an attempt to repair the damage I did an idiot move and tried a rattle can on it, the solvents in the paint dissolved the surrounding silver Paint.I have seen posts on the forum where in persons have primed and repainted the radio bezel and all other interior surfaces,as it currently stands I am not willing to go down that road as yet as it would entail me painting all the components in the car.
BTW in addtion to painting it I was contemplating Vinyl Wrap.
Here is a a link of the pics of the damage:

Can you guys suggest any actions I can take to remove this eyesore.

Thanks

Well, many people have sworn that this matches the stock silver interior
