Roof Rack End Cap!

Hi All!

First time poster here, though I've been reading this forum for a while now I drive 2004 5 speed Vibe, which I love dearly.

Unfortunately, I drove about 200 miles last night in my car, and somewhere along the line the plastic cap on the back right hand side of my roof rack was lost somewhere along the journey. Trying to find a replacement for this part, anyone have any suggestions?

You can probably get one from a GM dealer. If it were me, however, I'd call around to local junkyards to find one that had the part. It wouldn't be a part they would inventory, but you can ask if they have a Vibe roof rack, or even a 2003-2008 Vibe

+1 for this suggestion. Something like this would be CHEAP at a junkyard, but not so much if ordered new. And anybody that has removed their rack setup, correct me if I am wrong... but don't the caps pop back on almost as easily as they fall off? They don't have any hardware holding them down, do they?

I saved the plugs, from our 2010 Vibe, when we installed the Matrix rack. I'm a pack rat in recovery! We have no intention of removing the rack. Not sure if they fit, but you can have them if they do.

They snap in pretty tight. Not sure how one could fly out. But obviously it did, eh? Maybe glue in down rest with some silicone?

I have not searched to see if the 2010 plugs will fit a 2004. Check it out. And if it does, pm your address. I'll send them.
