Can you tell me what these parts are? Grille & Wheel Well?

Post by crazytrain »

A while ago I hit something on the road and some damage was done to the driver side front end. See pics below. Can anyone tell me exactly what the parts are called and where I might possibly buy replacements? Other than what's shown, no other damage was done. This happened quite a while ago, 3-4 years maybe.

Also, I don't have a pic of this, there's a liner underneath the oil filter. At some point the tab(s) holding it on broke off, kind of like ripping a sheet of paper out of a loose leaf binder. Is this liner something I can replace also?

Thanks for any assistance.
Is this called a wheel well? See how it's coming away from the panel?

Here you can see where the tire rubbed out a nice hole. When I ran over (whatever it was) it pushed the piece against the tire. I didn't know until I got to my destination and poped it back into position as best I could.

Here you can see where the driver side grill came off. It was a black grill. You can also see the rubbed out hole & tire.

The fender liners are available new, on ebay I've seen a few for like $30-40. I'd look on there too for the grille

You can also find the engine splash shields on ebay if you need it too, those cover the bottom of the car.

Thank you both!

I knew coming back to GenVibe would be a good thing. Or maybe not as this is going to cost me a few bucks, a bit of time and some really dirty hands. And probably some frustration because I don't know what I'm doing, heh heh. But, in the end I'll stand back, pop open a beer, toast you guys and smile :)
