Windshield Replacement

Post by GotVibe10 »

Hi all, First post here. I am a new owner of a 10 pontiac vibe (also have an 03 with 200k) Unfortunately I have a windshield that is cracked, which is suprising to me, I have never had a windshield crack on me. My question is is it safe to go non oem for 300 vs dealerships whoknowshowmuch? My geico insurance says I would have to pay my 500 deduct to go thru them, so thats out of the equation. Thanks!

If you go with a national chain and they had a good warranty you should be fine.I spent a very cheap amount to get my Civic windshield replaced and it is going on 4 years or so w/no problems.
