New and need assistance

my compartment below the shifter keeps popping out, i looked behind it and i saw some clip. is the clip suppose to attach to it? i attached it and it would not open all the way. i have no clue, i know this was posted long time ago, but i just started here 2 days agothanx ron

thank you for replying, i went and did that and it works perfectly!first repair compliment of you and the site..you can get the tape from wall-mart, go to the the hard ware area and find where they have window insulation, its like $2.50 or something, for window insulation, with tape only on one side, put 2 small strips on both sides of the bottom with the compartment taken out, then put the thing back in place and no problems what so ever, use the rest of it to give to your dealership so they know how to fix it. lolthanx again for that address
