Very slight delayed engagement when cold.

Post by max1057 »

When I back out of the driveway in the morning and then put the car in drive, I feel a very slight nudge almost from the transmission [auto]. Then it runs fine from then on. Don't notice it when it's warm. Just wondering if it's normal. It's a 2007 with 52,000 mi. Thanks.

Year and mileage? It's a good idea to drain and refill the transmission fluid every 30k miles.Use only the toyota fluid, not any "universal" stuff. No need to flush if you stick to this schedule.
