does any pontiac vibe owner have this thing? if so how is it? i'm thinking of getting one for one i fold down the back seat and put all 4 of my dogs in there http://www.amazon.com/Highland...ies_1

I don't know how well that one would fit a Vibe, but http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=7302 has instructions on how to make one.

...the tension-rods push up against the roof liner are NOT a good idea! If they don't "tear" the fabric, they will certainly "stretch" and "distort" the roof liner material so much that when the poles are removed, the liner material will almost certainly "sag" down...not a pretty sight!

I bought a similar one from ebay for 15 bucks. The tension rods don't work, but...I bought some velcro ties, like the ones you use for wrapping up extension cords, and tied the horizontal bars to my head rest supports. It worked just fine. I use mine with the back seat down and put the "FEET" on the car floor. I've never used mine with the back seat up like the one in the picture.
