My friend did it for $30 on a snap on $5000 tool it took 30 minutes well he sprayed the map with CRC map cleaner & then it's numbers came in line again, my iac " idle air control" is working but could be better the u2 sensor on ex manifold is overheated I'm going to take the one off of the 2005 manifold &try using it befor I spend $60 on new but he got idle up 875 rpm I'm happy the vibe is so better design than other cars like Saturn the map is below the throttle body it's very black sooty environment the vibe is way up on top of air filter a better design & the o2 is on ex manifold you can see it & there is alot of work area too it will be easy change out I'll find out in the morning when its cold if it keeps running without foot on gas pedal It's work in progress that motor has 80000 miles on it & it's a keeper very quiet & smooth
Nice, I'll take that in note if ever it happens to me or anyone I know. I'm glad you found the problem so fast and it's idling well now. That was the last detail you needed to work out to get the Vibe up and running good, right?
