Recommend a Good Car Magazine for beginners...

Post by ragingfish »

Ok...I was thinking abou tgetting a subscription to a decent car magazine that will keep me in the loop on new models, road test results, etc...but also something that will teach me more about cars in general...is there one magazine out there that does that? If not, what's your most recommended title? Nothing too in depth or complex...I'm a beginner trying to learn about this stuff here...thanks guys...

Do you want to learn about all cars and vehicles, or just the ones in our catagorie? I like 'Hot Compact Imports' myself. Lots of articles about mods, paint, turbo's, ya know, the cool part of cars.

Just read lots... seriously. I use to read Sports Car International (mmm amazing cars - lots of euro stuff) cuz I like that stuff but, if you're into rods, get Hot Rod Mag.... whichever way you go, the more you read the more you'll pick up.

It would be nice to have something that is tailored to our cars. They have Honda magazines, Chevy magazines, etc. There's very little info in mass media about the Vibe. Maybe if there was more interest in our specific model of car, then more aftermarket parts would be available and we wouldn't have to take the Matrix's hand-me-downs.
