Alright, so, I keep getting flashed. With brights that is. I know its not my low beams because I've had various family members complain that my fogs are way to bright when I've followed them. Tonight on my way back to my place I was flashed twice, actually they just flipped them on and left them, even after I flipped my high beams on. Both were truckers. I didn't seem to have this problem before I got a new bumper put on. The only thing I could think of would be the shop installed them sideways or something. I don't even know if that's possible. Are you fellow GT owners fog light reflectors going in a vertical direction? This is the way mine are. Any other thoughts? I'm not going to turn them off, I like how they give me a lot of light on the edges of the road. So this isn't the solution I'm looking for. I've parked my car down the street to see myself, and they are indeed very bright. All lights are even, so ones not out of level.
They are adjustable. I believe if you crawl under there you should be able to see a knob of some sort.Time to get dirty and crawl around the ground.... maybe it'll snow for you too!!!

Try this test: When on LEVEL ground, at night obviously, Turn all your lights on (normal headlights AND fogs). Now turn off the fogs and pay attention to where the light WAS! Then turn them back on. You should ONLY notice additional lighting down LOW under your regular headlights. From your view over the hood, the entire ground should be lit up with fogs on. This is normal and not to light up in other drivers eyes. Good luck
Yeah, it sounds like they just need to be adjusted, although I can't believe truckers would be flashing you because of the fog lights since they are sitting up so high. I never get flashed. Here's a close up of my fog light. The reflectors are vertical (I'm 99.9% sure they can only be installed one way). Here are a couple pictures to show the output of only the fog lights:

It lights up the trees on the side of the road, halfway up the trunk. I may crawl on the ground, or I may let the dealer do it! HAHA! I didn't know they could be adjusted, but this explains it I figure. Thanks for the help guys!
My fog lights on my 09 Base are brighter than my headlights.. they are basically like spot lights. They add lights to the side sure, but they also shine above my low beams. I've never been flashed though.. and before anyone tells me I should aim them (I tried to get under my car and wheN I twisted the aiming knob nothing happened, they just didn't raise or lower)...
That's a great post J_TO_ENVY!Foglights should aim below 0°. These 120mm round are nominal at 1° down. If you're level and lined up to a wall, the "cut-line" should be slightly lower than the center of the foglight. You may have to take out a couple of clips from the lower air-deflector, pull it down a bit to see the adjuster on the foglight. Thread pitch is pretty fine so after a new install, a good number of turns will be necessary.
