09 turn signal stalk removal

Hi all, Looking to add fogs to my 09. Have looked at all the threads (I think?/hope). Going the 07-09 Camry e-bay route. Anyway, I would like to change out the turn signal stalk to the one that has the fog light switch. Any instruction or help would be great. Is it necessary to pull the streering wheel? Worse case I was thinking of slicing into the wires (wire colors??) at the stalk and adding a switch on the dash. Thanks for the help,
