Question about interior painting

Post by BlueRiver03 »

I am wondering if anyone out there can give me some advice on a brand of interior paint that works best. I am looking for some hue of Blue, since I have a Neptune Vibe.

Is that acculaser link working for anyone else? I have tried it a few times in the last couple weeks and I get the main page, and the products page, but when I click on the model year I just get "error on page". I just had to have the piece around my radio replaced because the silver was peeling off.

I used regular spray paint. Painted about 5 layers of paint and then another 3-4 layers of clear coat. I may end up painting them again with a metallic red.

Ya I got the link from Triton and tried to get information from Acculaser. Didn't have any luck with the site, looks as if they are down right now. I have e-mailed them to see what we can do about this problem. Just to let you know that if you are a first time customer there you can receive a discount on your first purchase. Just have to e-mail them your info and order.

i like that paint jobs you all did. i was thinkin about doingsomething like that on mine. i am more of a black, silver, chrome, or gray guy. i like simple flashy colors but nothing to bright and overdone. my problem is i want to change the factory look to my dash, but i already like the silver color of it!!!! lol! what to do, life is ruff. i thought about a glossy black, but i dont know, what do you all think???

I personally like to brighten up things! I like to have something that is different and unique.........rather than just a base color! Just my opinion.......Orange would go great with your color Vibe!

quote:I'm thinking about getting an acculaser kit...i have a satellite vibe..i'm thinking red to match my heat shield, fuse box, hellas, and injen CAI...I've been in contact with Bob Platter at Acculaser regarding making a red kit for the Vibe/Matrix. So far he has not been able to get a "decent red" from his supplier. Contact them!!! Maybe two people asking for the same color will force them to look harder!!!!!! his e-mail address is rplatter@acculaser.net. Let him know that you know another person was interested in the kit. I last e-mailed him on 7/1. Good luck

I know their colors are limited, but I don't know what they have in stock. I do know they only sell dash kits.

I called and spoke with Celeste...she said the site is under construction and will be up and running sometimes next week.I really want to do my inside yellow, but I want a metallic yellow...I can't find metallic bright yellow paint to save my life. I did find a pearlescent model car paint-don't know if I want to bother with that though. She told me they have the blue, carbon fiber, and something about geometric shapes...

I really like the Salsa color. I think I might go down to Sherwin Williams and order a can of that and redo my red interior. I really like the metallic. It looks great!
